SD23 Worker/Child Endangered

To continue on about Ron Rubadeau not being suitable for the job of Superintendent of SD #23...one just has to examine the lack of checks & balances within his operation.

After investigating the death a support worker on the job, the British Columbia Worker's Compensation Board found that SD #23 had an outdated health & safety policy & outdated training records. WCB also found that SD #23 lacked provisions for regular inspection of work methods & practices and that SD #23 did not have proper supervision of it's workers...clearly worker endangerment. Read what WCB reported www.sd23.net/WCB.html

SD #23 threatened the worker who blew the whistle on unsafe school conditions with legal action... such arrogance.. instead they should have thanked him. Rubadeau & his administration should have been charged with child endangerment. click on to read more... http://www.sd23safety.net/sdsafetywesone.html

SD #23 on-call Custodian worked at 40 different schools & found that many schools had deplorable cleaning practices. There was no worker handbook to set out correct proceedures.

The worker found many cleaning rags simply rinsed out and reused over & over until when left to dry they were a dirty gray & so stiff that they stood up on their own. With so many germs...cross contamination was a fact ... resulting in days staff & student lost to illness.
